Serve as primary photographer for FUMCR programs, outreach and operations.
Develop and execute FUMCR social media strategy monitoring and responding on channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram with over 3,500 subscribers. Consult with individual ministry areas in development of their ministry’s social media strategy – insuring consistent content with church-wide channels.
Write and produce creative, original and shareable content for FUMCR digital/analog communications platforms including external print marketing, social media channels, Sunday morning worship materials (bulletin & screens), and print/digital photo galleries.
Serve as communications evangelist for church staff & volunteers offering formal & informal training on story gathering, photography, communication strategy & the use of technology to leverage their unique expertise in ministry.
Seek opportunities where the local church story can be shared in creative and personal ways. Finding community platforms to communicate our brand, events and individual stories to help set our community to be invitational, welcoming and living into the spirit of our mission.
Produce, film and edit original video content for use in FUMCR operations including worship services, community-wide celebrations, and online channels.
